About Our Community
It's my privilege to represent residents of Hammonds Plains - Upper Sackville in Nova Scotia's Legislature.
Hammonds Plains-Upper Sackville consists of Lower, Middle and Upper Sackville, Lucasville, Hammonds Plains, Upper Hammonds Plains and Kearney Lake Road. It is one of the largest constituencies in Nova Scotia.
Created mainly because of the fast-growing population of the Sackville area, the constituency is largely made up of the bedroom suburbs. There is a great sense of community in all areas of riding. There are many organizations, recreation centres, churches and schools that run on volunteers hours. There are several key stone businesses that play an integral part of the local economy, businesses that have built this area from the ground up. It is because of these residents that our community is a better place to live, work, raise a family and do business.
It is a pleasure to work for a better deal for the families of Hammonds Plains-Upper Sackville.
