Below are some of the investments we've made in our community since I've been elected as your MLA:
• $37 million in our children’s education with the replacement school for Charles P. Allen High.
• $16.2 million in roads and bridges as part of our economic stimulus spending which includes Margeson Drive.
• $2 million in health promotion with the local 4-Pad arena which contains four NHL-sized ice rinks and four professional beach volleyball courts.
• $55,000 in health promotion locally with grants to Glen Arbour Ratepayers Association to build a playground and Sackville Heights Community Centre to develop their park.
• $128 million in affordable housing units including the new Millwood Seniors' Complex.
• We have invested in our seniors with the construction of the White Hills Long Term Care Facility, part of the Department of Health’s $262-million Continuing Care Strategy.
